Hunt for Beasts

Created for Fireside Jam 2025 - Theme: Hunt

Welcome to "Hunt for Beasts", my first-ever game jam creation! In this quirky and challenging game, you won’t be hunting beasts; instead, you’ll be gathering food to feed them. These creatures are always hungry, but don't get too comfortable - each beast has its own very particular taste. The trick is figuring out what they want, but be careful, they can be surprisingly picky! Feed them the wrong thing, and it might not end well...

Can YOU feed all 90 of them? Fulfill their unique desires with almost 80 different foods and be rewarded with more than 70 abilities and modifications!

A huge THANK YOU to the Fireside Jam team and the community on Discord for all the support, advice, and inspiration during the jam! It was a fun and challenging experience creating this game in such a short time, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. Thanks for playing, and make sure to check out all the amazing games from Fireside Jam 2025!

Excellent game! I think a berry clipped out of bounds or something though, I sought the last food for 2 minutes and couldn't find it.

Oh damn, I thought I’d fixed that problem 😂 anyway thanks for playing and sorry for the inconvenience

The game takes a long time to load but be patient, it eventually works!

This was great. I like the little twist about hunting for beasts and not hunting beasts. Every upgrade/downgrade felt unique and interesting (the "inver mouse on the X axis" really messed with me >.<)

Overall, awesome! Music and art is also really good

Edit: OH GOD now that I'm used to having the mouse inverted on both axes I'm doing the same on itch ;-;

thanks for your feedback :) btw, I have the same problem with my mouse xP
